Mayor-Elect Rhye Marlenski Announces Daniel Dazoke as Chief of Staff

Chriscity – May 24, 2025 – Mayor-Elect Rhye Marlenski today announced the appointment of Daniel Dazoke as his Chief of Staff, effective immediately. Dazoke will play a pivotal role in leading the Mayor-Elect’s transition team and will serve as a key advisor in the new administration.

„I’m incredibly proud to announce Daniel Dazoke as my Chief of Staff,“ said Mayor-Elect Marlenski. „Daniel’s extensive experience in urban planning and community development, combined with his deep understanding of Chriscity’s needs, make him the ideal person to lead our team. His dedication to public service and his proven ability to bring people together will be invaluable as we work to deliver on our promises to the residents of Chriscity.“

Dazoke brings a wealth of experience to the role, having most recently served as the Director of the Chriscity Neighborhood Revitalization Project, where he spearheaded initiatives that revitalized three key downtown districts and secured over $15 million in federal grants. In his new capacity, Dazoke will oversee daily operations, manage the Mayor-Elect’s schedule, and work to implement the administration’s strategic priorities, including affordable housing and sustainable transportation.

Daniel Dazoke is a lifelong resident of Chriscity, holding a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Chriscity University. Before his work with the Neighborhood Revitalization Project, he served as a senior policy analyst for a national think tank focusing on municipal governance. He is also a co-founder of „Chriscity Green,“ a grassroots organization dedicated to promoting urban sustainability.
